Workshop for Potential Movement has a successful history of collaborating with exciting and talented individuals, partners, and organizations, and continues to maintain our passionate commitment to innovation, vision and leadership. Workshop for Potential Movement is always open to expanding this network of creativity and to build new opportunities and access to all.
CREATIVES
Workshop for Potential Movement is always open for quality proposals from artists and innovators. The company is currently seeking partners in creative research for DANCE IS HARD TO SEE and THE GIRL DETECTIVE IN BLUEBEARD’S CASTLE. If you are an engineer, researcher, or artist working in experimental media or technical theater, we want to hear from you! Both projects are in their initial research and development stage. Topics of interest include existing or yet-to-be-developed tools and technology for site-adaptive and immersive environments, projections, holography, and a 21st century update to Pepper’s Ghost. Learn more about these projects by visiting WORKS. Tell us about yourself and your interests in collaborating by contacting Kathryn TeBordo at kathryn@potentiallymoving.org
PARTNERSHIPS
Workshop for Potential Movement can offer organizers, companies, and educators a range of existing and custom-made activities and services to accommodate body-based projects of various scales and ambitions, and can directly assist to develop future ideas and activities. To start the conversation, please contact Kathryn TeBordo at kathryn@potentiallymoving.org
AT YOUR VENUE
Workshop for Potential Movement will perform an existing work at your venue, in a format to match your technical and space considerations. We are interested in giving your audiences a meaningful encounter with their own happy absurdity as they witness contemporary dance+theater. By offering voracious experimentalism, Workshop for Potential Movement intends to help audiences stay curious, laughing, and engaged with the potential of dance and live performance. We have performed at fully equipped and fully staffed theaters. We have also produced our own work in alternative spaces. To receive a full press kit and DVD, please contact Michael Kassler-Taub at michael@potentiallymoving.org
