With this dance, I am interested in drawing your attention to the very light, yet still visible, strokes between different states of being and ways of seeing.

The Soloist
What does a forgotten dance look like? The job of the soloist is to encounter a forgotten dance, selected by the dancer from their own repertory, whether one of their own or one learned from another artist; to be authentic in this encounter, rigorously avoiding the state of representing ‘forgotten’, so that the action of encountering and the physicality of the attempt, is the material of this dance, rather than the choreography of the selected dance.
The Improviser
The job of the improviser is to turn the material generated by the soloist into something that more traditionally is seen as dance and .
The Micro-movers
Their job is to . They are in this score because I want to see and show how other micro movement concepts relate to the dance phenomenon and values exhibited by the other roles.
